Brother of Paul Tschoffen, Charles was born in Dinant on 28 June 1869.
He became a priest at Leodius at St. Veronica 1892, then parish priest at Ombret 1901, at Berloz 1911, at Verviers at St Hubert 1919, at St Remaclus and dean of the same district 1921.
He was made canon ad honores in 1931.
Upon retirement he became chaplain to the Lambermont Convent in 1939 and died there on 4 May 1954.
